GOALS:
- Redesign and overhaul an existing website to make the user-interface more professional, streamlined, and sensitive to branding
- Allow for the content of the website to be easily updated by eTech.
- Incorporate news articles into the main page that update automatically with relevant, financial stories
SOLUTIONS:
The first step was to redesign this website from the ground up using a series of images drawn up from a marketing firm. And once this new design was approved, we began incorporating a sophisticated menu system with the re-imagined website. All of this was designed to be content-manageable with only minimal effort on the part of eTechTransaction Solutions. For the dynamic news articles on the homepage we found an XML-based news feed that would integrate with an existing website automatically and bring in streamlined news articles updated continuously. So, in the end, not only did the new website offer news articles relevant to eTech but it does so on - literally - a minute by minute basis.
