GOALS:
- Design a website that's content can be easily modified on a regular basis
- Create an on-line health survey to replace a paper-based process that was causing data to have to be entered twice
- Generate a daily report of the results of this survey and provide files for exporting the data into a pre-existing Access Database
SOLUTIONS:
We started by designing a content-manageable website that could be updated using nothing more than Internet Explorer. With easy to use, back-end tools, adding and removing content from the website only takes a few minutes of time. From there, we used a paper-based, health survey questionnaire to develop a secure on-line form that can be filled out anytime and anywhere with an internet connection and the correct login information. The results of these surveys are rolled up at the end of each day into a series of text files, compressed using WinZip, and made available for secure download by Health Solutions, Inc.
